Sara Maia is the Clinical Research Coordinator's Team Leader in CHLO, since 2016. Sara Maia has an undergraduated degree in Microbiology and Genetics (Sciences School of Lisbon University, 1998) and a PhD in Biomedical Sciences by the Medical School of the Lisbon University (2007). She has extensive experience in an academic and industrial setting (Portugal; United States and Germany) and was also an Invited Teaching Assistant of the Nova Medical School (2012-2016).

She is author of scientific articles in national and international publications.
