Pedro Simões Coelho is presently Dean and Full Professor at NOVA Information Management School (NOVA IMS) of Universidade Nova de Lisboa. He is also Visiting Professor of the Faculty of Economics of Ljubljana University (FELU) and researcher in the Information Management Research Centre (MagIC). He is member of the Portuguese Health Technologies Evaluation Commission. He is former President of the General Assembly of the Portuguese Association for Classification and Data Analysis (CLAD) and also former member of the Portuguese High Council for Statistics (CSE) and President of the Fiscal Board of the European Centre of Statistics for the Developing Countries.
